5. General Limitations
1. Yaris Autocare reserves the right to inspect the part to ensure all warranty provisions have been met before any repair, replacement, or refund is provided.
2. Any repairs or removal of the part before Yaris Autocare or its contractor can inspect the part will void the warranty.
3. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Any returned part must be in the same condition as when purchased.
4. This part may have accessories that need to be removed or switched for proper installation. The installer is solely responsible for this, and such accessories are not covered under this warranty.
5. Warranties are applicable for one-time use only. Products repaired or replaced under warranty are warranted only until the end of the original three-month period.
6. This warranty is void if any of the following occur:
– (A) The part is installed in an application not intended by the vehicle manufacturer.
– (B) Failure is caused by towing a trailer unless the vehicle is rated by the manufacturer for towing.
– (C) Failures caused by non-covered components, improper installation, abuse, misuse, racing, poor workmanship, improper or lack of maintenance.
– (D) Failure caused by or related to collisions, theft, vandalism, or any act of God.
– (E) The warranty on all mechanical parts, including but not limited to engines and transmissions, is void unless installed by a qualified mechanic or certified technician.
Engines: This warranty covers defects in the engine block, heads, valves, rockers, lifters, pistons, crank and camshafts, and other internal lubricated parts. External parts such as sensors, injectors, throttle bodies, timing belts, gaskets, seals, manifolds, water pumps, coil packs, or any part not internally lubricated are not covered.
Engine installation must follow these procedures:
– Replace applicable parts: timing belt, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, fluids, oil pan gasket, oil, and oil filter.
– Warranty is contingent upon oil and filter change (per manufacturer’s specifications) at installation and every 5,000 km thereafter.
– Customer must provide proof of service or the warranty is voided.
– Overheating and/or improper installation voids all warranties.
– The engine warranty is contingent upon the installation of new intake manifold gaskets.
Transmissions: Replace the following with new parts: front pump and output shaft seals, pan gaskets, and filter. Flush or replace the transmission cooler and lines. Adjust the shifter and kick down cables and linkage if applicable. Clear all computer fault codes. Manual transmissions follow the same procedure if applicable. Installation should follow manufacturer guidelines, including proper fluid levels and adherence to technical service bulletins and updates.
The warranty covers slippage, shifting failures, and/or bearing noise. Shearing or breaking of teeth in a standard transmission is not warranted. For automatic transmissions with overdrive, the warranty is void if not adjusted by a qualified mechanic or certified technician before driving. Improper installation voids all warranties.
NOTE: The customer must provide proof of service or the warranty is voided.

10. Shipping Information:
When purchasing panels or glass items from us, please note that you must agree to our freight waiver before we dispatch any panels. Although we take utmost care in packaging and preparing panels for shipment, we cannot control how they are handled once they leave our premises. Consequently, we cannot assist with returns, refunds, or reimbursement for any damages incurred during transit by the couriers. All freight is shipped at the buyer’s risk, and we will only ship the panel or glass item once these terms are agreed upon by the customer.
Automotive parts are often large and heavy, and we can only list one estimated shipping cost per item for all of Australia. Larger deliveries may be subject to additional delivery surcharges beyond the estimated amount listed. If this applies to your order, we will contact you to discuss options. To avoid any unexpected surcharges, we recommend contacting us prior to placing your order for any overly heavy or large items.
Delivery surcharges may apply for South Australia (SA), Western Australia (WA), Northern Territory (NT), Tasmania (TAS), and some regional or remote areas. For shipments to these locations, we recommend contacting us before placing your order.
A physical address (not a P.O. Box) and phone number must be provided for shipping, especially for larger items.
For small parcels, we typically use Australia Post or Aramex Australia. For larger or heavier items, we use Team Global Express or other courier companies as necessary.
If you prefer to collect your order from us or arrange your own delivery, please let us know. We can facilitate collections from our store during business hours.
11. Ordering & Tax Invoices
Payment is required within 24 hours of purchasing the item, preferably immediately. We reserve the right to cancel the sale and relist the item if payment is not received within 7 days.
Tax invoices, including Donor VIN information, are provided with all purchased items.
We strive to dispatch all orders within 2 business days of order placement. Please consider this lead time, especially for orders placed on Thursdays and Fridays.
For orders involving the dismantling of engines and transmissions, please note that lead times may exceed 2 business days due to other queued jobs. If you have a specific timeframe in mind, please inform us before placing your order.
